Purim 2023

The Feast of Purim is fun and colorful, sometimes a little silly, but for a good reason. This year in 2023, Purim begins on Monday night, March 6, and Shushan Purim lasts through Thursday. Because it is such a kid-friendly celebration that falls in the middle of the week, we wanted to celebrate it properly on a day that is not a school night. So we decided to have a costume party on the preceding Shabbat, March 4. We will be reading the Megillah story together during the Study Hour, which will be followed by a festive Oneg (lunch) and Hamantaschen. So come dressed up on Saturday. Let us rejoice in deliverance from Hashem that is sometimes veiled and hidden from us.
